Distractions could be used:-
1.) Girls (most effective)
Distracting him by placing another girl beside him and fill up all his free time. If possible, making the girlfriend jealous and create more problems for the couple to deal with and especially effective when the couple could not cope up with the problems
2.) Works
Filling up the time of the boy and there is not enough time for the boy to spend time with the girl. And the girl would feel lonely and look for someone to talk to, if possible, make the girl looks for you.
3.) Games
Introduce the boy with attractive games, be it computer gaming or any form of games which would direct most of his time and attention away from his girl.
4.) School work
This is an unavoidable yet uncontrollable variable.
Girl
Basically no distractions could be used to distract a girl from her man because usually girls are focused on their man.
However what can be done is that, you yourself treating her extremely good that even to the extent that she felt you are way much better than her man. Showering her with care and concern and love and when she starts treating you like a good friend, sharing her problems with you, you know you are on the right track. However, there should be a clear cut line of friendship that the friendship would not go to the extent that a closer relationship could not be established.
